Forbes reports 50 Cent cleaned up on that Coca Cola/Vitamin water deal. But he didn't clear nearly $400 million as was earlier reported. This is important to clarify because the IRS wants damn near half!

When Glaceau was snatched up by Coke at the end of May for the price of $4.1 billion, word spread that 50 Cent would take home $400 million as an owner of 10 percent of Glaceau's stock.

While 50 Cent (real name: Curtis Jackson) did very well on the deal, Forbes reports that he took home just $100 million from the sale.

That total did not count toward this year's Forbes Celebrity 100 list, which ranks the highest-grossing stars annually. But the hip-hop star was still able to make the list for his paycheck last year He ranked at number 32 with take-home pay of $33 million in 2006 coming from the many facets of his G-Unit empire which includes record labels, a clothing line, apparel, ringtones and books labeled as 'street-fiction.' 100 million dollars is still insane. I was channel flipping earlier and saw a special on VH1 with Celebrity Divorces. Most of the folks they highlighted aren't worth (before and after divorces) nearly as much. Maybe I should rethink my career; go back and try to become a singer or rap artist, since they make hella amounts of money once they beging to sell platinum. *thinks* Nah, I'll stay right here and keep working on my book. LOL. But damn, if my job paid .5% as much as these megastars make I'd be better off; but then again, wouldn't we all? ;)

i used to drink formula 50.. after i heard vitamin water was bought out, i didnt see formula 50 around. now im drinking their new flavor "XXX" which is really good. i wish i made that money though.. 100 mil on a drink? thats crazy!! 50 is lucky.

The actual amount that he mad is probably more than some people will ever see in their life. 50 cent is a very smart business man. Every move that he makes is calculated and if you ever sit back and think about the things that he has done...$$$$$ is always the motivator.
