Stone Mountain Park, after lots of criticism, canceled a 400-foot-long and 200 foot wide ski slope attraction last year. The Park had already invested some $5 million in the venture and the purchase of snow-making equipment. The problem with this venture was not the marketing, but the business model's key ingredient.
